Looking for anyone who might assist this person in some way: "My great grandfather I believe had a grocery at 107 S 5th St in Louisville, KY around 1890. I found it through Ancestry.com under business listings. He left his wife and 6 kids who lived in New Albany. I believe the family went back and forth between the two cities. I can't find a death record for him, don't know what happened to him and either does the family. Would you know of any pictures that might exist of that area at that time? I received this query today. Can anyone assist? "Hello, this cemetery's "remains" or "ruins" is on my land. I am trying to find any further data on these people, or on the HX of the plot. I grew up with these head and footstones, my family and I discovered all of the stones buried under the land. We still own the land. Before our occupation of the property, the developer (or someone?) apparently plowed it under probably 50-60 or more (?) years ago. I am just looking for more information, if you have any . Thanks!"
