St. Louis Cemetery is in quite good shape. The records are maintained at the Catholic Cemeteries office, which is located at Calvary Cemetery. St. Louis, St. Michael's and Calvary are all close to each other, and in pretty good shape. St. John's, the oldest catholic cemetery for which records exist, is in the west end of the city, and has not fared so well.

One of the Peaslees has a very cool monument in Cave Hill--quite Egyptian looking.

According to a written family history the home of Stephen and Susan Danforth Peaslee abt 1830 was on the West side of Fifth St, halfway between Broadway and Chestnut. The lot extended through to Center St. Could you tell me what is there now?
No, it is a completely different name. There was a Saint named Meinrad, and St. Meinrad, IN is named after him. For more about St. Meinrad, go to http://www.saintmeinrad.edu/abbey/vita.htm.
