    3. Thanks Gene for looking: My Martha Kaufman was born in 1836 in Jefferson Co., Ky. That is really the only info I have on her except somewhere along the line, I have written that she married a Barringer, Bassinger or something like that. Thought I would take a chance and ask you. 2. I have a Speed family that lived in that area that is not related directly related to the Speed family that built Farmington in Louisville. The family that I have married into the family of Joseph Stephens, who is related to the family of John Gay Moore, brother of James Francis Moore, who resided at Fish Pools. In looking at a 1793 map that is in the map drawers in the Kentucky Room at the main branch of the Louisville Free Public Library, John Gay Moore owned property in the vicinity of where Palatka Road is today. 1. [KYJEFFER] Kentucky Research
    2. Dear Lists, I've been doing look ups from the 1880 KY census, and I believe I've found alot of people from the response I have had. However, I've had many people request further look ups after finding family in 1880. I have many KY resources and don't mind sharing what I have, and I will continue to do free look ups from the 1880 census, however if you want me to find parents or other census I'm going to have to request that you send me the request privately with what you are looking for and I will search my Kentucky Resources I have access to most census, alot of marriage records, of course I have more info on some counties than others. I will research and let you know how much info I find. I have no idea what to charge for research I know many charge $25.00 per hour, but I won't. I've decided I will search and charge $2.00 per page for information I send out typed. If you request research from me, send to me privately (KYbrenda@aol.com) I will check my resources and let you know how many pages I find on your family. It will be your choice wether you want it or not. I will continue to do 1880 Census looks for free. But if you want me to look for marriages, other census years ect I will have to request we do it another way. Some of the requests I've been getting are taking me and hour or more to do.. Brenda KYbrenda@aol.com REQUESTS should look like this: Subject Kentucky RESEARCH John SMITH b. abt. 1824 m. abt. 1844 Lucy BROWN believe they were in Jefferson County.... Her parents I don't know, his father was Samuel SMITH. If you know any siblings tell me. The more info you send me the more info I can find. I have the 1850 Kentucky, actual pages, I have the 1880, the 1910 for some counties I have many marriages cd's I have all the census indexes I have KY deaths 1911-1999, births 1911-1999. and many books.
