Pat, There are currently 8 listings in the Louisville telephone book for people named Farnsley. There are none for Peaslee. Type < white pages > in the message box, hit "Go," and then just follow directions. Good luck. Cookie, a Hoosier in Florida << GreystokeB@aol.com >>

You can order recent ones from Frankfort for about $8.00 (I think) if you need older ones before 1947, I have a source that will copy and mail them for $1.50, ( the web site is on the Bullitt county KYGENWEB page, his name is Chester Ward)
John, I've recently ordered several KY death certificates online using www.vitalchek.com. They charge $11.50 each, and you receive them in 5 to 7 days. Hello, I am new to the list. I would like to know how to request a check for a marriage record in Jefferson County between 1880-1881. I didn't find information on the Jefferson County Genweb site regarding this. Is there an address for the Probate Dept. of the county Court house? Karen KlaeneGet more from the Web. Thanks for your friendly response, Faye, My CLARK family was from Warrick County, Indiana, in the last half of the 1800s. Before that they lived across the Ohio River in Grayson, Hancock, and Daviess Counties, Kentucky. Before that... I have NO idea. My father's mother was born Myrtle Belle CLARK, born in Warrick County, Indiana, in 1883. Her father was Elijah CLARK, born in Grayson County, KY, in 1853, the son of John CLARK and Elizabeth McGREW. This much was told to me by my grandmother and her sister. Her sister also added that she thought John's middle initial was "T," but she was not sure. John was supposedly born in Kentucky about 1821, a son of a Charles R. CLARK. I have no documentation for this. That is the extent of my knowledge. Where they lived before coming to Kentucky I have no idea. Could very well be North Carolina - a lot of Carolina people settled in Kentucky. Likewise, a lot from Virginia did also. And, since they lived along the Ohio River, there's a chance the family came down the river from New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania,or Maryland. It is a mystery. I would be very grateful for any tidbit of information that would point me in the right direction. I am sending this to several other Kentucky lists hoping that just maybe someone out there has an inkling. Thanks again for your response. Happy hunting. I am trying to locate an obit for Joseph T. Lewter. He died in Louisville, Ky., on Nov. 6, 1951 at age 80. John
Joseph T. Lewter died in Louisville, Ky. on 11-06-1951 at age 80. I believe him to be a lost son of my ancestors Jeremiah H.W. (Jerry) Lewter and Nancy Billions of Giles County, Tn. His wife could have been named either Fannie (she died young, but date unknown) or Blanche). I would be very interested in hearing from anyone of this family or anyone doing research on this family. John
Where can I find a 1907 Obit? Im looking for information on Andrew FLUHR b. November 30, 1864 in Harrison Co, possibly in Taylor d. March 16, 1907 in Kosmosdale, Jefferson County, Kentucky, Buried in St Peter's Cemetery, Harrison Co, IN. I believe he may have lived in Valley Station, Jefferson County, KY when he died. I think he may have been hit by a train in Kosmosdale. Im waiting for a copy of his death cert. His wife was Rosa Clara Etta McClelland KEEN. Any info or advice is greatly appreciated. ~Susan Fort Leonard Wood, MO
