Is anyone else researching the family of Jacob Luther who came to Graves County in the 1850s from Dickson County, TN? Jacob Luther (son of George and Mary Bowden Luther) was born August 14, 1815, Randolph Co, NC, and died in 1891 in Cuba, Graves County. He married (1) Elizabeth Anderson and (2) Nancy. The children of Jacob and Elizabeth Anderson Luther included Harriet, Louisa A.(m. Wm. Madison Bullock), William G.W., Mary A.(m. Thomas Easley), M. Tennessee(m. John Mack Suthard), Andrew Jackson, John F.B., Alice D.(m. ? Bennett), and Travis Newton. I have a fair amount of information on the early generations of this Luther family including their participation in the Revolutionary War.
