My friends - As we move into Christmas week, we are resuming our review of early Calloway County marriages in today's posting. In prior segments of this series, we have worked our way from 1823 to 1841, and we will continue with that year in this post. Subscribers to this List who see a marriage which is of interest to them can request the complete dataset(which usually contains the dates of license and marriage, the consents, and who performed the ceremony)by sending a message to me with the names of the couple on whom the dataset is needed, and I will forward that on to you. As always, your help in not resending this entire message back to me with your request is appreciated. We will have an abbreviated data posting schedule this week. There will be no post on Wednesday, as that is my teaching night over on AOL. The final post for the week will be on Thursday and will be another in our continuing series on terminology.
