    2. Found this abstracted deed in Don Simmons's Jackson Purchase Journal, number not noted: Hickman Co. Deed Bk ?-332 dated 12-13-1831: Wm. Hunt, Jr. and Samuel J. [should be S.] Williams and Catharine Williams, wife of said Samuel, of Hickman County, KY, to Baker Woodruff of same, for consideration of $90 one tract of land being the N.E.Q [quarter] of Section 3, ownship 4 Range 4 West containing 160 acres. Wit. Robert Walker William Hunt, Jr. Harrison A. Philips Samuel J. [S.] Williams Catharine Williams Is anyone familiar with the grantees in this deed? Samuel S. Williams and his wife Catharine [nee Stephens] were married in Henderson Co. in 1817. Samuel S. died intestate ca 1838 (administration Nov 1838) by presumed elder son, J. H. Williams, aka Jesse H. Williams. Jesse H. Williams later lived in Ballard Co., which was formed from Hickman Co. Who is William Hunt, Jr.? What is his relationship to Samuel J. and Catherine? They seemed to be co-tenants or tenants in common. E.W.Wallace
