I just found in some notes that my husband's gr-gr- grandmother, Emma Carter Donnell, was a charter member of West Baptist Church in Hickman, and donated land for the first building, and lived right behind it. Could someone tell me where is the church located, might it have been farm land at one time, or was it pretty much 'in town'? Mary Emma Carter Donnell (b. ca. 1868) was married to John Robert Donnell. The family land was 'down near Brownville Road'. The Donnells had at least 3 children...Artie Donnell who married James Henry Pollock in 1903, and sons Archie and Thurman. In some newspaper listings, the name has been reported 'Darnell'. If anyone can fill in some blanks about this family, it would be appreciated. I am researching in the JP area the names Trusty, Donnell, Pollock, Hamby, Hart, Carter, Stubbs and Hiett. Cherilyn Trusty
