My friends - Tonight, we will close out the week with a continuation of our look at some of the lesser known, but often very valuable, records in the National Archives. We are currently reviewing Record Group 94 - Records of the Adjutant General's Office. In the last post, I discussed the general scope of Record Group 94. In this installment, I am going to give you some of the more interesting subgroups of records which are held within Record Group 94 that have genealogical possibilities. I will continue this overview in the next few posts, and then close out Record Group 94 with information on how to obtain records which we have discussed. Here are some of the record subgroups with potential genealogical data: -Muster Rolls of Volunteer Organizations - War of 1812.
