Murray seems a great place for the gathering. The Pogue Library is a great place to do research. I try to go there every time I am back "home". Information is there about not only about the Jackson Purchase counties, but also on the states from which settlers migrated into the Jackson Purchase area. My vote is for Murray. It is also for an INDOOR gathering. Although I was born and reared in Calloway, after many years away, the heat and humidity are pretty uncomfortable for long periods for someone not used to it. Ann
