I agree with Peggy Chapman that Ginsey seems to be a nickname or diminutive of Jane. Jane Williams, later of Henderson Co., KY, but born in Granville Co., NC, was called Ginsey Williams in 1796 deed of gift of her maternal grandfather, Samuel Snead then of Granville Co., but later of Person Co., NC.
