    1. [KYJacksonPurchase-L] Graves County - 1840 Census - Heads of Households - Part 4
    2. Bill Utterback
    3. My friends - Today, we will resume our review of the 1840 census of Graves County. As we know, in census records prior to 1850, only the name of the head of the household is given, with the other members of the household shown only by numbers in age groups. If you see a name which is of interest to you, and you would like to have the full age enumeration for that household, drop me a line and I will forward that information on to you. As always, your help in not resending this entire message back to me with your request is greatly appreciated. Tomorrow, we will have some additional early newspaper snippets. Those had a very large following in prior posts, and even when they do not provide specific genealogical data, they do often give us an insight into the human side of our progenitors. -B +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Graves County - 1840 Census - Heads of Households - Part 4 Ragsdale, Mat Ezell, Frederick Jackson, Samuel Patrick, Thomas Bostic, Armstead Tucker, Levi Mills, Harrison Reid, James F.
