My friends - Today, and over the next few days, I am going to be presenting some "bits and pieces" from my miscellaneous file on Graves County. We had a Skills Puzzler recently about clues in old newspapers, and that reminded me that I have some items taken from the area newspapers around Graves, Calloway and McCracken counties. Today and tomorrow, I will list some names that appear in these various pieces of miscellany. If one of your kin appears in the list, and you want an abstract of the newspaper content(and that may be nothing more than a death notice, or someone visiting someone else, etc.), let me know and I will get that information to you. The list will not be a long one, either tonight or tomorrow, as I am going to take a bit of a holiday up through Labor Day. I will have another Skills Puzzler for you Friday evening. The weekend will be quiet in any event, due to the holiday. Following the holiday, we will get back down to business on the JP Homecoming 2000 event. As always, your help in not resending this entire message back to me with your request is greatly appreciated. -B ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Miscellaneous Files - Graves County - Newspaper Snippets - 1877 & Later Mahon, Rebecca Cox, Ben F.
