    1. Re: [KYJP-L] Rev. War Soldiers in KY(Quisenberry), Hickman Cty
    2. Michele, Really, I do not feel I am related to the Bone's. However, one of the "Bone's boys" testified in behalf of my GGGGF, Jesse Messhew, when he applied for a Rev War Pension in the 1830's. Now, I figure that since one was from SC Line, as was my GGGGF, there might be a link of some nature back to help me crack my "Stone Wall", finding out who my GGGGF's parents were, anad where they were from. It gives me another "avenue" to pursue, or it might. What is your relation to John Bone, Jr., and Jone Bone, Sen., and do you have any info regarding their past homesites, etc? Particularily, SC or NC or VA? I know my GGGGF said that he came from the Upper PeeDee River country, when he joined Marion's troops in Georgetown, SC, and then went to help build Fort Moultrie, on the north side of Charleston Harbor. He then served with Marion, on and off for four or five tours. After the war activities, he was granted a land grant in Lancaster Co., SC, from the SC Governor. That is what I know is written on the "wall" that I am confronted with. If you can shed any light, I would appreciate it. Ron Meshew
