My friends - I am dropping by today to let everyone know that I have another segment ready in the continuing JP Land Grants series. This segment continues with more of the "S" surnames. Specifically, these surnames are: Sullivan, Stubblefield, Shuffield, Summers, Sullinger, Shulse, Shuck, Scruggs, Sutherland, Sublett Stubbs, Stump, Shults, Summerville, Summons and Smutherman. This file is a good example of how variations in spelling can affect the placement of people in these segments, as Marcus "Smutherman" (undoubtedly"Smotherman")appears in this segment, while others of the Smotherman family are located in a different segment.
