I have just ate supper with my 92 year old grandfather. He told me that there was actually 2 marrying trees. One on the Old Murray Paris Road on the KY-TN line (which was a chestnut tree) and the other was at Crossland which is Southwest of Hazel, Kentucky (this was an oak tree). My grandfather Guthrie Grogan and my grandmother Zenie Estelle Outland were married there in the rumble seat of an old chevy car.
