I am looking for the parents of Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie" Cruce who married Sam H. Hardy December 1885 in Obion Co. Tennessee. Sam H. Hardy was the son of Joseph H. Hardy and Nancy Anne Graham Hardy of Fulton Co. Kentucky. According to a 1900 census Lizzie was born in Tennessee 1872-1874. A Press Cruce married one of Sam's sisters. Was Press a brother of Lizzie? Does anyone have access to the marriage index in Obion Co. TN to verify the marriage date of Sam and Lizzie? Any information about the Cruce family will be much appreciated. Also looking for information on John Hardy, brother of Sam H. Hardy. Johnnie Hardy was born about 1862 and Sam H. Hardy was born about 1864. John and Sam Hardy both were known to have left Fulton Co. Kentucky and later settle in Arkansas. Sam Hardy died about 1907. After Johnnie Hardy left Kentucky, I have lost track of him. Does anyone know if he ever married or had any children. Where did he go after he left Arkansas? Linda
