An update on the Graves County Family History Book: We have received almost 700 family histories to date and are now beginning work on the histories of the communities, churches, and businesses. The FINAL date for accepting family histories has been set for March 31. For anyone who may not have heard about the project here is more information. You may submit a family history of 500 words or less and one picture to be included in the book at no charge. The pre-publication price of the book is $55.00 + $6.00 for shipping and handling + $3.30 tax for KY residents. Histories &/or orders may be sent to: GRAVES COUNTY HISTORY BOOK P.O. BOX 5002 MAYFIELD, KY 42066 After proofreading, typesetting and getting it to the printers we expect the book to be out by late 2000.
