My friends - Today, we are returning to our review of the Marshall County Vital Statistics Birth records in the period 1852-1859. In prior posts, we had worked our way up to the year 1856, and we will continue with that year in tonight's installment. Subscribers to the JP and Marshall county lists who see a name in which they have an interest can request the complete dataset for that name(which normally includes the date of birth, the sex of the child if not obvious, the name of the father and maiden name of the mother)by sending a message to me requesting that information. As always, your help in not resending this entire message back to me with your request is greatly appreciated. Since we have some new subscribers, in addition to welcoming them, I probably should mention the fact that the JP Homecoming 2000 event is being planned for October 13, 14 and 15 of this year. Our Planning Committee will soon be resuming their meetings by chat room(we took a little hiatus during the holidays)as we go forward with the formulation of activities for that event.
