(no other notation) JULY 1- Planted my late corn and sowed my peas & laid by my sweet potatoes, which was on Saturday. JULY 5- Halled(sic) P.P. Green's thrasher wood , 2 loads - 50 cts. JULY 6- Cut hay on the 7; Raked it on the 10. Made watter(sic) gate for P.P. Green. In all makeing(sic) in one day - 75 cts. SEPT 1- Faned(sic) wheat, me & Oscar (presumably Grannie's 1/2 brother, Oscar Fields). SEPT 18- Baled clover - 50 cts ; J.K. Trafford moved to Bardwell (Carlile Co.) SEPT 19- Made gate till(sic) 10 o'clock NOV 22- The Sullivan sow found (with) pigs in the year 1893 DEC 5- Brought my sow & pigs home. CONTINUED.... p.s. --- If anyone know s of P.P. Green in their lineage, I'd really like to know more about him. It's my belief that one of our FIELDS cousins married into that family, but we have no proof of that, as yet. Thanks
