Joseph Thomas Frizzell was my great-greatgrandfather. He was the son of William Weaver Frizzell who was married to Nancy Wilson. They were born in Bedford Co., Tn. They evidently settled in Calloway for a time. There are some Ky relatives. I'm in Paducah and have just begun researching this family. William's dad was Nathan Frizzell and he was in the Revolutionary War. His dad was also Nathan. I'll have to check all my dates and post them. That is how new I am to working on the Frizzells. J.T.'s daughter, Ida, married James Armstong Waters. They were parents to my grandfather, Dolph Waters. My mother was Freeda Waters, dau of Dolph and Daisy Schuchardt of Pope Co., Ill. Joseph and Ida are buried in Zion Cem. in Pope Co. also. William and Nancy are buried in Rushing Cem. in Johnson. The Rushing Cem. seems to be a family Cem.
