My friends - Today, we are resuming our review of the heads of households in the 1830 Graves County census. We are close to completing this review - another post or two after this one will get us through the remaining names. I have today assumed the role of host for the KYGraves-L List, so that list will be included as an addressee on any data posts which I make for Graves County. I hope that the folks who are subscribed to the KYGraves List will also join us on the KYJacksonPurchase List, which is the flagship list for the Jackson Purchase region. The JP List is just a whisker away from our 600th subscriber. I had mentioned, before Christmas, about the usual influx of new subscribers that usually occurs around this time of year. It has not yet happened this year. But it may yet occur. We do have several new subscribers, however, and I welcome them, and invite them to post their research needs for the 8 counties of the Jackson Purchase to the JP List, so that we can try to help them with any puzzles they may have. Subscribers to the lists that I host who see a name in the list below which is of interest, can obtain the age enumerations by sending a message to me with the name on which the data is needed - I will get it out to you.
