Can anyone help me find out more about Richard S Murrell? He is listed on the 1920 Fulton Co KY census Age 71. Listed as an attorney. I am interested in learning who his father was that was born in MO. In 1920 he was listed as a boarder. He was listed born in TN. I could not find him listed on any other census in Heritage Quest search in any state. With any variant of the Murrell spelling I could think up. Pat Mata pjmata@cox.net

Pat, R. S. Murrell was born 25 Sept 1848 in Weakley Co., TN. Parents were J. B. Murrell and Mary Jane Davis who married in Henry Co., TN 27 Nov 1845 and are on the Weakley Co. 1850 census, Dist 13 J. B. married second wife J. A. McCorkle Henry Co. 18 July 1858. They're on the Weakley Co. 1860 census, p. 321, apparently not indexed in Heritage Quest as Murrell. You will also find a biography in Battle, Perrin and Kniffin's History of Fulton County 1885.
