I am a Galloway when I visited Mayfield I found Galloway road. does anyone have the history on that. I did find the Galloway house and visited them and heard some of the tales of the house. Would love to hear more if anyone has more information. My father was born down the road in a slave shack on the land. My grandma thought she would move into the big house when she married Brown Galloway but they moved into a slave shack and worked the fields. Looking forward.
