Powell,son of Cleveland Powell and Malinda Abner. He was the father of my great grandfather Emanuel Powell ( Big Manuel ) . He was married first to a Sarah Edwards or Edmonds with children - Louvena (1871), Thomas (1874), Emanuel (1877), Nickodemus (12/1/1878). He was then married second to a woman named Nancy with children - Harlan (7/13/1886), Joseph (10/6/1887), Mary Jane ( 5/9/1891). I descend from Lovely Abraham Powell on both my father's and mother's side. My father's side is Lovely Abraham Powell - Cleveland Powell - Phillip H. Powell - Emanuel Powell - Jonah Powell Hershel Powell - Robbie Powell. My mother's side is Lovely Abraham Powell - George Washington Powell - Edward "Dutch" Powell - Edward "Dink" Powell - Virginia Ann Powell - Robbie Powell. I have quite a bit of information on Lovely Abraham descendants and would love to hear from anyone else whose is a descendant and add your information to my data files if I do not have it.
