Hello, I need help. I am stuck out here in Arizona and it is hard for me to get back to Kentucky. I am up against a brick wall and would appreciate any help out there in Jackson County that I can get. My grandfathers sister, Deliah Harrison was born about 1890 in Jackson County to Andrew 'little Andy' Harrison and Sarah Ann Blanton. Sometime between 1900 and I would guess around 1915 some kind of legal action was taken in the court system. I I think Andrew charged a young man about not doing right with his daughter and the young man ended up going to prison at Frankfort and he ended up dying when the Kentucky River overflowed it's bank. I am thinking that was sometime prior to 1920 when the young man drowned. If anyone out there can find out anything in reference to this I would really appreciate it.
