Mahlon/Malen Gentry was the son of Joseph and Nancy Davis Gentry. They came from Johnson Co. Tn, originally. In 1850 they were in Lee Co. Virginia, where Mahlon/Malen was born and by 1860 they were Owsley Co. Ky. Malen's brother Alfred was my gg-grandfather. I have the family info if you're interested.
