Hello list I am searching for information regarding the identinty of the father of Nancy b.1844 and Malinda Bales, Nancy married Marcus Settle and Malinda married Alexander P. Settle, the older brother of Marcus. A James Bales was listed as brother-in-law of Marcus Settle in an 1884 pension hearing. All in Jackson Co. Can any one help??
