The Dunigans of this area are descendants of Jesse Dunigan who eloped with Mary (Polly) Wilson, a d/o John Wilson and Rachel Roberts -Wilson about 1850.. They went to Ohio where they had four or five sons and a daughter. I think this is right. I have the names but they are out at the Battle Abbey and I am bare-footed. I can recall that one of the sons was a William and another John. Jesse Dunigan died and Polly returned to Kentucky with her family in a wagon. The Confederate Army had invaded Kentucky and she had to drive back roads to avoid the armies, Don`t think this William was ever in Whitley County. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, September 05, 2002 7:14 PM Subject: [KYJACKSO] Re: Isaac Dunagan > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5AB.2ACE/166.698.1 > > Message Board Post: > > do you know anyone who might have access to the whitley couny census for 1890 or 1900? i am looking for a william j. dunagan and his family > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
