Born in Jackson County April 11, 1889, she was the daughter of Will and Frances Hellard Lakes. She was first married to John R. Isaacs who died in 1944. Later she was married to Thomas Conlon who survives. Mrs.Conlon was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Laura Hay, Berea, ky., two sons, George Isaacs and Elbert Isaacs, Sand Gap, one brother, Elbert Lakes, McKee, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Justice & Lakes Chapel by Rev. Leslie VanWinkle. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetary at Sand Gap under the direction of Justice & Lakes Funeral Home.
