I am the genealogist for my family. It appears, however, that I am hitting a brick wall. My name is Peggy Marie Banks (my family calls me Marie). I am the d/o Ray Banks & Peggy Jean Bray. Ray is the s/o Bill Banks & Tilda Combs. I have gone back MANY generations on the Combs side. I am, however, having a great deal of difficulty with the Banks side. I know that Bill was married before Tilda Combs to a gal by the name of Alice Harvey. They had, I believe, five children by the names of Ellen, Fern Marie, Grant, Ida Mae, and Clyde. It is believed that Alice died while giving birth to Grant. Grant was born February 20, 1927. I'm seeking information on both Bill and Alice. You see, my half cousin is wanting to learn more about the Harvey side and we both are wanting to learn more about the Banks side.
