Dear friends & family?; I have received some new info on my grandmother Clista Isaacs (turns out she was born CLARISTA, to John B & Catherine Gabbard)...once I sort thru it, if any data updates, clarifies or corrects existing data, I will post updates to genforum, ancestry, here,etc.. Thanks to all who have helped so far! Still no clue to Elbert Bailey lineage, but did find out he married my grandmother in 1923, and that his birth county was Laurel>KY, and that they were living with her parents at the time of the 1930 census. IT HAS GODFREY ISAACS IN THERE ALSO. I AM NOT SURE OF THE ORIGIN OF THIS FILE, BUT I AM WILLING TO SEND A COPY TO ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT, JUST EMAIL ME DIRECT AND ON THE SUBJECT LINE PLEASE PUT, 'NEED ISAACS FILE SENT' " THEN FORWARD TO: <[email protected]> I tried this, but received a "no such address" return notice from AOL. It turns out 20-25 attempts to the same address from April 2001 on met the same fate.
