BAILEY b 11nov1897-Laurel CO>KY, may be the offspring of WILLIAM BAILEY & "LIZZIE" BYRD. My father was born in McKey KY 25apr1931, the 5th of 12 children by Elbert & Clista (Isaacs) Bailey. When Elbert passed 6oct1982, I believe he was survived by brothers Lloyd, Stanley Albert, Boyd; & sisters Ida (Lakes) & Edna (Meyer). Is it possible he is a sibling to your Ellen & Robert mention in your reply to Marcia Quast? I have been given various info/ correspondence claiming he was Irish, Scottish, English, & even may have had a Native American connection in there somewhere!
