    3. To my Pigg Cousin John; Lucreta Pigg and her husband John Bullock, a Union soldier in the 7th Kentucky Infantry, are buried in the Tyner Cemetery, Jackson County. . She was a daughter of William Pigg, whose log cabin home was standing until removed by a Jahova Witness and erected somewhere else not too long ago. This William Pigg, who married three or four times, was s/o Paul Pigg s/o William Pigg, a Revolutionary soldier, a son of Paul Pigg, whose will was the first will probated in Pittsylvania County, Virginia., 1776 . The Pigg river was named for him. He was a a s/o John Pigg, s/o John Pigg, s/o John Pigg, the immigrant, who came to America in 1650, after Cromwell`s Puritans cut off the head of his king, Charles the second. How do you like the idea that if a king had not been beheaded in the 1600`s you would not have been born in the 20th century? Among the stones in my collection isone from under a bridge over the Pigg River. If you want more information you will have to give me a mailing addess.
