The Lails were in known to be in Southern ILL in 1818 and 1819. Further there were two other early marriages between the two families; 1)Obadiah Ross, (brother of Nehemiah) married Catherine Lail in 1829.Catherine was the daughter of George Lail 1790 and his first wife. 2)Elizabeth Ross b.ca. 1824 married George Lail in 1840. (2nd wife, he was about 50). If I am correct Nehemiah's wife Eliza was another daughter of George Lail 1790. He does show several girls in the special 1818 Illinois census.
