From "The Jackson County Sun", Thursday, July 22, 1971 Rosa Combs, 70, a resident of Annville, Ky., died at 3:00 p.m. July 15, 1971, at Mary Mount Hospital of an illness of three months. Born in Jackson County, October 21, 1900. A daughter of Matt Hacker and Elizabeth Hensley Hacker. Married October 28, 1919, to Albert Combs, who survives. Other survivors are; five daughters and one son, Mrs. Charles Wagner, Valdalia, Ohio, Mrs. Everett Parsley, Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Clayburn West, Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Coleman Estridge, London, Ky., Mrs. B.F. Moore, Union, Ohio and J. M. Combs, Miamisburg, Ohio; two brothers, Henry hacker, East Bernstadt, Ky., and Walter hacker , Akron, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was a member of Moores creek Church of Christ. Funeral services 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 17, at Bowling Funeral Home, London, Ky., by Bro. Larkin Pennington. Burial followed in Walnut Hill Cemetery at Rt. 1, Annville, Ky. Bowling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
