    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5AB.2ACE/2732.1 Message Board Post: Hello, I don't know if this is how you are related or not but in my records I have a daughter of Stephen Gumm and Elizebeth " Betsy" Cornelius Sally Gumm b 1840 who married Samual Cunagin . I have a picture of a Cornelius Moore. It is a close up shot of him . He is smoking a pipe and holding a book of some sort. He appears to have something wrong with his left eye. I would love to know which Cornelius Moore this is. I wonder if that could be the pastor you are talking about. Hope someone out there is familier with the picture and can tell us. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5AB.2ACE/2732 Message Board Post: The messages related to the Gumm and Moore families have perked my attention. Some of you who have knowledge of these families might have some information that could help me with my ancestery questions. My gg grandfather, acording to family legend was John Cornelius who lived and paid taxes from 1815 to 1822 in Clay County. Ky. We believe Elizabeth Cornelius who married Stephen Gumm about 1822 was his oldest daughter. Our records show their son Abraham Gumm married John and Deborah Phillips Simpson's daughter Deborah. My g grandfather Andrew Cornelius, a son of above John married John Simpson's daughter Elizabeth. My mother Mae Cornelius Taylor always said we were related to the Cunnagins but she wasn't sure how. If any one can add anything to any of this I will sure appreciate it. Also a Cornelius Moore was the pastor of the Mt Zion Baptist Church in North Laurel County in its early days. It was organized in 1867. Jack Taylor

I am looking for my grandparents, Arthur Walker and Rosie Gamble (Gambrel) Walker. The census is not yet index and I have not browsed each page. (I have dial-up and it would take days). Does anyone have a clue if Sandgap was missed or where they may have hidden it?

My g-grandmother was Deborah Gumm. She married Cornelius Moore in Owsley County. Their family lived in Jackson County. Children include Mary, Martha, Margaret, William (Bill), Lewis, and Mat (James Madison?) One of the daughters is believed to have married a Frank Angel. Mat married 1. Julie McWhorter and 2. Elizabeth Lewis. I have placed Mat in Cincinnati at some point, and he lived much of his life and died in Laurel County.
