Dr. Charles Blount and his wife Sarah were my g-g-grandparents. I don't have a lot about them, but did go to the courthouse in Beattyville, Lee Co., KY, a few months ago and copy a few documents. They were mostly collections for his physicians fees, and about the railroad taking their property. My g-grandmother was Eliza Bell Blount (married John Perry Gaylord). Eliza was Mildred's younger sister. I'm hoping you can tell me more about the Blount and Cornett families!

    2. jess wilson
    3. The Dunigans of this area are descendants of Jesse Dunigan who eloped with Mary (Polly) Wilson, a d/o John Wilson and Rachel Roberts -Wilson about 1850.. They went to Ohio where they had four or five sons and a daughter. I think this is right. I have the names but they are out at the Battle Abbey and I am bare-footed. I can recall that one of the sons was a William and another John. Jesse Dunigan died and Polly returned to Kentucky with her family in a wagon. The Confederate Army had invaded Kentucky and she had to drive back roads to avoid the armies, Don`t think this William was ever in Whitley County. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, September 05, 2002 7:14 PM Subject: [KYJACKSO] Re: Isaac Dunagan > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5AB.2ACE/166.698.1 > > Message Board Post: > > do you know anyone who might have access to the whitley couny census for 1890 or 1900? i am looking for a william j. dunagan and his family > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
