I have some information about some of the other children but not a lot on any of them. I would happily email it to you if you are interested. My main interest in the family is thru their son Merrill who married a distant cousin. Do you know anything about the rest of John's siblings? Looking forward to hearing from you and thanks again! John (1830-1898) is buried near Annville, Dry Fork. I believe the cemetery is Moore cemetery. Their daughter, Maxaline McDaniel (1872-1895) is also buried there, with what appears to be an empty space between them. Susan McDaniel was living with her son, George McDaniel, according to 1910 census. Susan's brother, Golden Flinchum, is also buried near John McDaniel. I believe Susan could be buried next to John, but no stone is present. Looking for any information on Susan's death. Also any information about their daughter Maxalline.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/5AB.2ACE/2757 Message Board Post: I am looking for ANY information about this person or his wife Eliza. Nehemiah Ross was my gggrandfather. Records indicate he was born in KY in 1807 and was on the tax rolls of Lawrence Co. (later Randolph Co.), AR as early as 1830. He was married to Eliza (b. @ 1814, IL - last name unknown) around 1842 in Randolph Co., AR (no marriage records located). Their children were James Skinner Ross, Catharine M. Ross, Martha Dupree Ross, Elizabeth Ellen Ross, and Nehemiah M. Ross, all born between the years of 1843 and 1853. Census records indicate the family lived in Davidson Twp., Randolph Co., AR through 1860. The 1870 census of Stone Co., MO shows Eliza living there with three of the daughters. There is no record of Nehemiah's whereabouts in 1870 nor of his possible demise/burial. Neither do we have any information about the ultimate fate of Eliza nor information about her burial. Nehemiah's and Eliza's daughter Elizabeth Ellen Ross was my ggrandmother who married James G. Qualls in Independence Co., AR on Christmas Day, 1873. Their daughter Effie Loutisha, married to Elles E. Hilton (living in Leann, Barry Co., MO virtually all of their married lives) was my grandmother. Again, I am looking for ANY information about Nehemiah Ross and/or his wife Eliza. Specifically, I would like to learn her maiden name and as well as the name of the parents of Nehemiah and where specifically in KY he was born. He may have been related to Obediah (Obadiah or Obed) Ross, as Obediah Ross is listed directly next to Nehemiah Ross in the Lawrence Co. AR tax records of 1830 and 1831.

Hello my name is Terry McDaniel and I am new to the list. I am working on the Parrett Line and have just recently moved to eastern kentucky. First off, Jackson County is beautiful up in the hills, you couldn't ask for a more scenic drive. My first question is about directions to certain cemeteries. I would like to know where to find the following cemeteries. Winstead - Parrett Cemetery, in Bond. Parrett Cemetery at Adkinstown Parrett Cemetery at Parrett I am finding my way around on Highway 30, 421 and 290. My other question is if anyone has ever been to the Parrett Cemetery at Arval. My husband and I hiked back to where we had been directed but never found the cemetery. As far as I know the last one to live at the Parrett place was Hiram C. Parrett and he died in 1969 (although the place is well cared for the house and barn are cared for and yard is kept up and firewood gathered), as far as I know that was the last burial at that cemetery. If anyone knows of this cemetery and could tell me if it still exists. If anyone has been to it in recent years. Thanks Terry McDaniel Parrott/Parrett, Cress, Mink, Jackson and Warren
