In the 1870 cen. Jackson Co. He is 72 and Anna is 70. John would be to old to be Thomas and Ruth's son. I believe that Hugh Faubus was Thomas Alexander's brother. John that married Anna Summers may have been Thomas Brother? I have seen Thomas father as John Faubus b. aug. 25, 1759 in Shenandoah, Va. died January 30, 1854 in Laurel Co., KY. Heather

    1. [KYJACKSO] Netiquette & Flames
    2. Jen Bawden
    3. Hi everyone, It appears that something has started on this list while I was at work today and, being the list admin, I'm going to stop it before it goes any further. This mailing list is not a place for personal attack. A flame is an angry message or an angry response to a message. Flames are a serious reminder that it is vital to think before mailing. An insult cannot be withdrawn. If you feel you can't respond to a post/message in a civil manner, take it private! This mailing list is not set up to automatically send to the group. You have to put in some effort to do so! If you can't take it private, and you still feel you need to respond, ask yourself a couple of questions: is it critical that I respond to this post? Will anything be served by responding angrily, other than that I'll feel good for about an hour? Could it start a flame war? Will it make more work for Jen when she has to send emails out like this?? (grin). As quoted from the welcome letter EVERYONE receives when they join: "Please, no chain letters, virus hoax warnings, spam or flames. A flame posted to the list for any reason will result in cheerful removal this list on the first offense. This is the only notice received. Common courtesy and common decency should be common practice. If you have a question whether or not something is appropriate for the list, please contact me." We're all adults here who are more than likely related at least one way if not more. Let's act like it! Jen
