I have heard she was a McKiddy, then I heard from someone connected to Fergurson or Cox that she didn't really know for sure that her maiden name was McKiddy. But who ever she may have been, she is buried in Laural Co. Ky. The Liabary there has a copy of her death. I have also heard she was the sister of gg/grandfather William McKiddy. 3. Dear Geneva; Thanks for the additional info. Oops! I now realize I referred to my Grndmthr as Clarista, & it should be "Carlista"! (This must be how some of the cruel trail twists are started, ha ha!) Anyway, thanks again, and I did pass your request on to Alma Hix. 1. [KYJACKSO] Isaacs Update
    2. Ken Bailey
    3. Dear friends & family?; I have received some new info on my grandmother Clista Isaacs (turns out she was born CLARISTA, to John B & Catherine Gabbard)...once I sort thru it, if any data updates, clarifies or corrects existing data, I will post updates to genforum, ancestry, here,etc.. Thanks to all who have helped so far! Still no clue to Elbert Bailey lineage, but did find out he married my grandmother in 1923, and that his birth county was Laurel>KY, and that they were living with her parents at the time of the 1930 census. Regards, Ken Bailey ps-Speaking of Genforum, I ran across a message posted in June of 2000 by a Mary Williams, which read: "I HAVE A FILE ON THE DESCENDANTS OF SAMUEL ISAACS. IT HAS GODFREY ISAACS IN THERE ALSO. I AM NOT SURE OF THE ORIGIN OF THIS FILE, BUT I AM WILLING TO SEND A COPY TO ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT, JUST EMAIL ME DIRECT AND ON THE SUBJECT LINE PLEASE PUT, 'NEED ISAACS FILE SENT' " THEN FORWARD TO: <[email protected]> I tried this, but received a "no such address" return notice from AOL. It turns out 20-25 attempts to the same address from April 2001 on met the same fate. If anyone out there knows of this Mary Williams, perhaps they could contact her & ask her to post an updated or corrected e-address? ps2-I also received a yahoo postmaster return notice on <[email protected]> , is she still the site owner? __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? It seems Elbert/Clista were living with Clista's parents at the time of the 1930 census, John B. Isaacs(50) and his wife Catherine(48). In addition to Clista, their children named were sons Shelley and Pal, along with Florence. Still no clue as to Elbert Bailey's tree/ heritage, but hopefully someone will recognize which Isaacs-McKee,KY group I'm supposed to be tracking?
