I'm sure we are looking for the same information. Mine did marry Elizabeth Johnson and had several children, including a son, Thomas. Both Elias ans Elizabeth were born around 1832 and he died in 1896. I'm at a dead-end. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks. Sebrena

The best place to find info on Susan Jane and Andrew are the court records of Madison or Estill counties. If they were wards of John B Logsdon, it will be noted somewhere in the court records. I would suspect that their father was probably William. I took a quick look at the census and would suggest that you compare the 1820, 1820, and 1840 census for Madison and compare them. I don't know what happened to Mary Jane. I have a bunch of notes that my mom copied that I can send you if you would like. Email me your addresss if you would like me to.

    3. Hi Sandy, Now I can't swear I am right but its what "I BELIEVE" at the moment!! Yes there is tombstones for these people you have mentioned. Was there at this cemetery last month taking pictures & nature has just about taken it back!!! There are at least a dozen trees down , plus a tree is now blocking the way back to the Cemetery. Alot of the stones are broken or under tree branches. In short it is a MESS!!!!!! If someone does not do something Quick , nature will win this battle for sure!! Now if you can add to it or tell me my mistakes I would appreciated the help!! Thanks , Martha Jo Marcum Carr Descendants of William H Moore Generation No. 1 1. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5AB.2ACE/3068 Message Board Post: Web site update 4/09/05 http://www.historic-atlas-series.com/ The Historic Atlas Series has been updated to include township and precinct level atlases from Pennsylvania and Kentucky. By popular request, we are currently digitizing more of these kinds of atlas and map data, and will be adding more in the coming weeks. Kentucky: http://www.historic-atlas-series.com/ky_map/ky_index.html Pennsylvania: http://www.historic-atlas-series.com/pa_map/pa_index.html At the present, atlas CD's are offered from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Missouri, West Virginia and Virginia will be added later this year so please feel free to check back often. The Historic Atlas Series may be an invaluable aid to Genealogists, Historians and researchers in search of 19th century places and place names. Many early property owners are indicated on the township and precinct level maps making these a great resource for identifying 19th century land ownership. Each atlas includes the following 19th century features: * roads, railroads and canals * cities, towns and villages * post offices and government sites * one-room schoolhouses, churches and cemeteries * rivers, streams and ferries * industrial sites, furnaces and mills * early homesteads and farms * land ownership - and much, much more Details on early maps are often difficult to read and these are no exception; however, by virtue of high resolution Adobe PDF formatting, map documents may be inspected at high levels of magnification without additional digital distortion; something that simply cannot be accomplished with paper reproductions and photocopies. The Adobe Acrobat Reader for MS Windows is needed to view, zoom, pan and print from the PDF map images, and is included free on each CD. No other software is necessary. The map data has been created and configured using the Adobe Acrobat Reader (6.0) for MS Windows (98, 98SE, XP, NT and 2000). The maps may be viewed in earlier versions of the software as well; however, optimum use of the data can be expected using the Adobe Reader 6.0 that is included on each CD. He was named Johannes Stolt, b 28 Oct 1741, Chr. 5 Nov 1741 in Selters, Germany. She also had a stepdaughter, Anna Catharina Stolt, named as her first husbands eldest daughter. Their father, Johannes Stolt, was killed at the flour mill (buried on 2 Oct 1743 in Selters). The above from the Selters church records. In 1773, John Christopher Lainhart deeded two parcels of land totaling 1000 acres to a John Stolt in Bedford county, Va. Any one else found a Stolt/Lainhart connection anywhere?
