Sheila was my mother. I'm very interested in finding out more about the Roper family, but have never tried until now. I have some information. Charles Roper b. 1787 in NC, Marcus (his son) b. 1825 in Tenn. If anyone has any information, please let me know. I'm also interested in Oglesby, Freeman, Rogers, and Weldon. I show that Franklin Rogers b. Jan. 31, 1858, William Scott Rogers b. Oct. 24, 1824, and John Rogers b. June 18, 1796. Franklin and William were both born in Roaring Springs, Ky. As was Claud Rogers (my ggrandfather) who was born July 24, 1889.
