Amanda, I have corresponded with you in the past regarding Joseph Denton and Ida Dunlap. I am the person that you sent the picture of Ida Dunlap to. I wanted to let you know that I have not discovered any further information on Joseph Denton. Nor have I found anyone that can identify the picture as my Ida Dunlap. But I haven't given up hope. I have found another marriage for my Ida. She married T.B.(Thomas Browder) Templeton in Christian County, Ky. on May 18, 1922. So that brings her up to five marriages. I was looking for an Ida Davis that married a John Trail when I found this marriage. My family had told me that she had married a John Trail at one time and I figured she married him after her marriage to Evan Davis but I was wrong. Now I have to start over and look for an Ida Templeton that married a John Trail. Oh, what fun. LOL! I did find a marriage license in Hopkins County on a Nora Denton that got married around the same time as my great-aunt Nora. If you recall Ida had three daughters that got married when they were just children, one of them being Nora Denton. But the Nora Denton that got married around the same time as my Nora Denton, was in her thirties and it was her first marriage. I was thinking that maybe she was Joseph's sister and Joseph and Ida had named their Nora after her. Just a thought. I have a copy of the marriage license. It does not have the name of the bride's mother or father on it. It just says that they were married in the bride's home. If you have found any further information please let me know. I am curious about where Joseph Denton died and what of. My email address has changed.
