He was owner and operator of Ki Rocks Barbecue for more than 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Madisonville. Surviving are his wife, Casey Wardlaw Winstead of Madisonville; four daughters, Debbie Johnson of Swansea, Ill., Addison Welp of Alexandria, Melody Gibson and Carrie Slaton, both of Madisonville; a son, Kiah Winstead of Madisonville; a sister, Grace Helm of Madisonville; a brother, Howard Winstead of Madisonville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandmother; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at The Chapel of Harris Funeral Home Oct. 19. Burial will be in Homesite Cemetery near Stony Point. I have no connection or further information on this person or family.
