I don't know his middle name or initial but the dates are about right. What I do know is he remarried and started another family after my great grandmother died . At the time of my grandmothers birth he lived in Madisonville Kentucky. I do have some family names if you wish to contact me. Sincerely Dyann Magee
I just heard tonight that years ago in Earlington, there was a group of Chinese people there. I was told by my mother in law that they melted iron. Maybe that is how one of my husband's uncles was nicknamed China. So I am curious. Does anyone know anything about them? Sue P. Carpenter
Sue, I don't believe I can directly answer your question but I remember some notes from a cousin in Crofton which is not far from Earlington. The name "Ling" was used so unsure wether she was referring to a first name or last. This is all that I have. "Lark and Geo Croft - mother Peggy Campbell Crofts - Henson group Uncle Ling children Uncle Ling wife Ling Croft Aunt Leevenil Children Muscoe - Icys Bro - Milton - Crettenden - Grandpa first cousins Roll and Dells father Curt Bud Saxon At this point I'm not clear as to who all these people are. Hope this might help in some way. Ken Kistner
