Chester Cannon officiating. Stewart died April 28, 1999 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She was a retail sales clerk at Young's Department Store in Madisonville. She was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Madisonville and a 50-year member of the Eastern Star Lodge in Marion. Stewart is survived by two daughters, Mary Mitchell of Phoenix, Ariz. and Linda Moss and son-in-law, Wayne Moss of Roanoke, Va.; a son and daughter-in-law, John, Sr. and Nora Stewart of Madisonville; two sisters; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett "Jack" Stewart; her parents, Efrim and Via Poore; and eight sisters and brothers. I have no connection or further information on this person or family.
