I am looking for any information on Elijah Purdy. He died around 1953. He was married to Delma Carner ( i think). He is believed to have brothers by the name of Will, Aaron, Jake, and Carl. Sisters are Bertha, Francis, and Mary. I think he had an uncle named Sanford. They lived near Kirkwood Springs in Hopkins County. Any information would be appreciated.

He had a half brother named Arthur Eden but I don't know anything else about him. Virgie May Farris-Eden was born August 11, 1998 and died April 3, 1947. She had three sisters Hattie Farris-Frost, Ethel Farris-Greenly and Helen Farris-Stephens. Hubert Ray Eden was born May 11, 1928 in Madisonville, KY and died February 22, 1989 in Campbell Town, IN. Here is the breakdown of my family. I am trying to find the ancestry of Joseph W. Hawkins,who married Martha J. Johnson on February 19, 1855 in Hopkins County, KY. I believe that Martha J. Johnson was the daughter of Benjamin Johnson, who moved to Hopkins County from NC. I have been unable to trace the roots of either Martha Johnson or Joseph W. Hawkins. I have found Joseph W. Hawkins in Webster County, KY in August 1860, with a young daughter named Martha J., but he is living without a wife. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
