* * * Drum roll please * * * * * * Calling All Hopkins County Researchers * * * * * * 1850 Hopkins County Ky census is now online * * * Did I get your attention? If you are researching in Hopkins County, you'll be pleased to learn that I have just uploaded the entire 1850 Annotated Census for Hopkins Co. This would not have been possible without the countless hours Jim Laffoon spent on this project over the past 5 or 6 years. If your ancestors were in Hopkins or any of the surrounding counties in 1850 or thereabouts, you'll want to stop by and check it out. In addition to the annotations and sources that he has provided in the basic file, Carole Palmer, Webster Co CC and I will be working over the coming days and weeks to cross link the families from 1850 with those that appear in Webster Co in 1860. Between the Webster 1860 annotated census and the Hopkins 1850 annotated census, we have provided what can become a premier resource for your research in this area and this time period. Help us make it better tho... send us the links for your families... ;-) Ready? Enjoy! http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyhopkin/census/1850/ nt

Frankly, the only Stinnett line I have followed is a great-grandmother who married a WARE in Greene County, Illinois, and died in Bourbon County, Kansas.
Are you kin to TX Stinnets? I know someone by that name. Is the spelled the same. Hus is from TX, so is his wife.
