I'm also researching the Townsends/Bales/Farren (Ferrin), Townsend is my Aunt maiden name. Her parents were Henry Townsend b:1896 Joplin, MO.and Edwena Weiglein b: 1901 IN. Henry's parents were Peter Townsend b: Joplin, MO. and Mahala Farren b:IN.?(sp?). Mahala' parents were Isaac Farren and Rachel Bales. That is all I have so far, it's not much. I do have a picture of Rachel Bales and Isaac Farren and will send it via email if you would like. Also will let you know if I find anymore information on these families, just email me at the above address. Linda

    3. Reta, I don't have much, but my gg grandfather, Cyrus Clark, b. 17 Jan 1855 in North Carolina, was the son of George W. Clark and Eunice Franklin. Eunice Clark, b. 4 May 1811, is the only other child I have for George and Eunice Clark. I'm sure there must have been others. Eunice Franklin's father was Thomas Franklin. Her mother was Mary (unknown surname). 3. Whew... Carole and I have been typing our little fingers off... [they are down almost to nubbs <g>]... thanks to several of you that have been feeding us info and/or links from one to the other. As I get them and get them linked I forward on to Carole so she can update 1860 Webster census and vice-versa. You won't find an 'Updated' note on the Hopkins pages [and I'm not sure if Carole is doing it on Webster or not], however, it's easy for you to find out what page or pages was last updated or uploaded new with this little trick... Hopkins 1850 census has this listing: http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyhopkin/census/1850/district2/pg015.html#464 /464 if you back up thru the directory by removing the page and HH number in this URL, you will be in the directory for District 2. Sort the directory by clicking on the red link at the top that says "Last Modified". This will then bring all of the recent uploads to the top of the page showing you the latest dates at the top. If you'll make yourself a note of which pages your ancestors are on, and note the date you looked at it, you can tell at a glance if something new has been added to the page by looking at the date. If you follow the link to any of the 1860 Webster Co census pages I believe this will work there as well. Thanks to everyone that is contributing. We can't do it without you... keep those cross links and files coming. One request tho... PLEASE... 1 page and 1 HH per email... makes it so easy to save the .txt files and add a link and less chance for an error. <g> Enjoy! nt & Carole

I am curious is Isiah Clark b.1815 who married Jane Page the son of George W Clark and Eunice Franklin? I am helping my cousin Cheryl Clark research her Clark line which I can take back to a George W Clark b. 1770/1780 SC,VA,KY who married Eunice(Unis) Franklin. A Johnnie Wayne Brown has George W Clark back to a William Clark b. 1740. My cousin is descendant of Thomas Franklin Clark and Elizabeth Bourland. Anything you can give me on both Franklin and Clark will be helpful. I saw on some website that Thomas Franklin married Mary 'Polly' Clark they had Eunice Franklin who married George W Clark. I am trying to find Mary's Clark line and Samuel Clark who married Elizabeth Franklin. If I am correct Elizabeth Franklin is Eunice Franklins sister. Also curious have you been able to get past Thomas Franklin? I have Benjamin Franklins line, curious to find out if Thomas's line connects. Thanks, Jerry Eakle
